Jacqueline Yow is the owner and lead designer of Jacqueline Yow Interiors, Incorporated. She is a Raleigh, North Carolina native and grew up attending local schools and finished her education at Peace College.
In 2004, Jacqueline sat for and successfully passed the Council for Qualification for Residential Designers (C.Q.R.I.D) exam. When she earned this certification she was elevated to Professional Level status in the Interior Design Society. Jacqueline is currently a member of the Designer Society of America (DSA) and has earned the appellation of DSA Certified Professional Designer.
With over 20 years of professional interior design experience, Jacqueline has worked on many varied projects including residential homes, vacation homes, model homes, apartment models, commercial spaces, medical offices, dental offices and historical renovations. She has worked with design clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Jacqueline has served in several leadership positions in the Triangle Chapter of the Interior Design Society. She has served one term as Vice President/Membership and one term as Treasurer. She also held the positions of Co-Education Director, Awards Coordinator and Assistant Historian for the Mordecai House. Jacqueline worked on the award winning Triangle IDS Chapter team for the Mordecai House Interior Furnishings Plan which received the Anthemion Award for Historic Preservation.
Jacqueline participated in the 1995 "Dream Showcase" home tour and designed all the window treatments for a "gold award" winning home. Her work has been featured in publications by local home builders, remodelers and custom cabinetry companies. In addition to her commissioned work, she has donated her time to the renovation and updating of the local shelter for homeless women and children. Jacqueline's varied background has allowed her to obtain experience in all types of design projects.
